The works of the artists from Budapest were collected by the Ludwig Museum and brought to Szombathely.

The central theme of the exhibition is the plant, which has recently been of great interest to philosophers and artists alike. Plants are thought of as even less than animals (hence the title: slow animals), and often we do not even perceive their existence in our environment.
